We have not had the best year for poultry ... Until now!
I came to accept that I am abysmally awful at artificial incubation of chicken eggs, and decided to let the broodies have a go at it. (Next year, I'll get it down ...)
They have done an exemplary job -- sixteen at last count, and still more to come!
We've got a mixed bag in here: Cochins, Showgirls, and Cochin/Showgirl crosses. These are gonna be a riot when they grow up.
I resisted for a long time, for quite a few reasons ... Some valid and political (Facebook stacks their algorithms in favor of the big guys, though who can really blame them), some paranoid (performing social experiments on users = kind of creepy). However, few can deny that having a "Social Media Presence" is critical to a business nowadays ... Or at least that's what they tell me.
So, without further ado, here is our Facebook page:
We'd love it if you "liked" us. We understand if you don't want to. Facebook is super creepy.
My hope is to try and keep up both the Facebook page AND this 'blog. We'll see how that goes. This 'blog allows for a lot more in-depth description, but the Facebook page is a heck of a lot easier to upload pictures to.
It looks like this website has an option to cross-post on Facebook, so that's encouraging!
K writes this stuff, for some reason that has yet to become apparent.
